People
RBG was founded by Ryan McCaffrey (Registered Architect, MA) in 2019. Prior to founding the studio, Ryan worked under Pritzker Prize-winning architect Wang Shu at Amateur Architecture Studio in Hangzhou, China from 2013 to 2019.
Alongside practice, Ryan teaches and lectures on regionalism in architecture. He is currently a faculty member at RISD Architecture (profile).
Ryan studied architecture at China Academy of Art (M.Arch II), Rhode Island School of Design (B.Arch), and McGill University.
